Flats in Amsterdam are not easy (or cheap) to rent as there are dozens of interested people waiting for an opportunity to see it and some of offers are fake just to take deposit and disappear later on.
We were quite lucky and found nice apartment in the average price of about 2300 EUR in Amsterdam Noord, Jisperveldstraat 87 with a beautiful view and parks nearby and friendly neighbours.
To keep story short, you can use one of the portals like this one below but be aware of renting flat at Amsterdam Jisperveldstraat 87 as our deposit was not returned as mrs. Lernerbeheer listed many costs of damages without proofs on photos even when she was able to see flat before we left and said we are good. Owner of the flat, mr. Koning, kept silent.
